Hey man when I removed the molding off of my fullsize chevy I took 3m adhesive remover (it's in a red and white can) I soaked the tape with it and then took a plaatic razor blade that was bought from lowes and it just scraped right off!!! Hope this helps

at the shop we use an astro rubber eraser wheel, it does a good job and does it fast. it doesn't affect the paint either. here is a link http://www.tooltopia.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8448

great idea! i used a wire wheel since the above suggestions involved buying more tools or solvents. the truck is getting repainted, so i just lightly brushed it off witha wire wheel.
