fiberglass filler(duraglass) just has fiber strands in it, and is used before you apply bondo. if you wanted to glass your dash buy some mattin and resin. I sanded my dash smooth in my ranger, didn't use any fiberglass and it is perfectly fine. no cracks or peelin. you can kinda see a pic of my dash in the profile.

the only way u get peelin of the paint is if u didnt get all the mold release off ..... u can either spray adhesive on it are they will sell u cleaner for it.

Just clean it really good and sand the shit out of it then use some high build primer and get to sanding. Thats how i did mine. Got a pic of it my profile.

What chris said but you may want to use an adhesion promoter for the plastic to help the primer stick. On my dash all we did is clean, addhesion promoter, about 8 coats of high build primer, wet sand, moere primer, wet sanded and painted and cleared. we also added a flex agent to each coat but that was just because the center part of my dash is that foam backed vinyl and I didn't want to remove it so that it would look factory, only smoothed and painted.

THAT RED DASH IS AWESOME! I AGREE TREAT IT LIKE A FENDER, RUFF IT UP WITH SOME 80 GRIT AND PRIME THE HELL OUT OF IT ADDING A FLEX AGENT TO THE PRIMER. WET SAND IT WITH 320 TO 400 GRIT AND PAINT IT.
