I was out in the garage the other night, and realized that I'm pretty much stuck until I get a motor for the Mazda. So I ordered the universal Ford sb mounting member from Summit.
Anyways, i was wondering if it was possible to switch over a fuel injected motor to a carb'ed byjust changing some parts?

anyone out there got any ideas?
I've heard that you just have to change the intake manifold and a few other parts, but I don't know all the parts exactly

Um yes on some cases.

If its a 5.0 all you need to change is the intake and the timing chain cover, also you will need to get a fuel pump eccentric for the cam, unless you have a inline pump, or one it the tank, if thats the case, only the intake
Hope that helps

I'm sure that I'm gonna end up getting a new fuel pump since its a Mazda and the pump probably isn't flowing enough for a 5.0
