just becuase i'm curious, is this safe to use in place of bags. what kind are people using, and how much pressure/lift can you get?

I rolled air shocks on the front of my Datsun back in the day, but it sucked. At 200 psi, I'd get about 3" of lift, and if anyone was in the car with me it would drop down to around 1" of lift! That's the main issue with air shocks- they have no load capacity. You might be able to run two per corner to help, but by then you could've just bought bags! As for the rear, they're slow, but they ride all right and lift well if you don't have a bunch of stuff in the bed... but you'll still get hated on, if I know us minitruckers well enough...

they'll work on the back of a truck but they're not made for the front, I think i read somewhere that they're made to handle around 600lb max load. I have them on the rear of my s-10 right now and it has around 5" of adjustability or so (guessing, i haven't actually measured)

they're rated to 150psi
