I know someone told me one time to use welding ground cable. What size is that and is it going to be sufficient enough? I am putting my battery on the side of the frame on the very ass end of it.

How much does this stuff normally run? Someone told me to use this as it is much cheaper than regular battery wire.

I relocated my battery to the right rear of my truck, under the bed. I bought a battery cable kit from Summit Racing. The biggest wire they had. I figured if it was good enough for a race car, it was good enough for my 4 banger.

use 1/0 gauge.

welding cable is usually cheeper, but its not as flexable, and looks much worse. If your going to put the battery in the open, used Car Audio grade cable, looks much better, and is probably much more flexable then welding cable. I sell my 1/0g wire at the shop for 4$ a foot, its stinger brand.

The 0 Ga. welding cale works great, & is very flexable, more so than any battery cable I have seen!! Only in black so make sure to mark the ends with red!!

or 1 gauge. and I think since I am not running anything but headlights and regular power off my battery, I don't see a problem with running 2 gauge also. I founf it at www.weldingsupply.com for $1.38 in red or only $1.27 in black and mark the ends in red.
