blackening tails?

hey guys, i wanna smoke my lights but i have no clue what i need to buy to get the job done and how to take it apart to do so, please help!

do you want the lens tinted or the insides if your doing the lenses no need to take apart if the inside is what you want to paint you need a heat gun to heat up the factory glue around the edges but some lights are bonded together buy the factory melting the plastic around the edge but if you just want to darken the lights id get that taillight tint on e bay and use that it works pretty good aslong as you start with light coats and keep checking that you dont get them to dark so good luck and becareful if your taking them apart plan on buying new lights just in case

whatever is easier and looks better, i dont wanna ruin my lights cause i know new ones will be $$$ so what should i do? and whats the shit on ebay called? how is it applied? if you just paint the outside wont it come off?

TAILLIGHT TINT it sprays over your lenses if you clean the lense really good and maybe scuff them up a little with like 800 grit or mabe less it should stick fine i did my tails three years ago and its still on there with just some light scratches in them

go to the hobbie shop and get some smoke paint, works great!

at least here in texas, u will get pulled over for it. At least once a month here. ended up putting on stick on reflectors cause of the hastle.
