this is my first real build and i'm trying to get it right.on my 86 I'm taking the heat/air out and i don't want a bunch of wires in my way, much less any shorts. what's the best way to discard of all the wiring? thanks for the help.

Since we're on the topic, I need to remove the a/c stuff on a '92 and since James knows everything lol, I'll ask. What all can I remove and still have heat/defrost? I need clearance under the hood, but want to keep heat-not a/c.

best choice would probably be to buy an under the dash heating only unit. i think they are pretty affordable. me and james took all the heat and ac out of mine, so ill probably just put in an underdash unit.

My big thing is having air blow up on the windshield to defrost the windows when they fog up. You can't drive with fogged up windows and it's too humid here.

Hey why is that so funny James? I could relocate the FACTORY blower and evaporator coil on a ranger and make it work flawlessly. There is nothing funny here move on.

the ranger blower box is really big, and if you are running 20's or bigger w/ a bodydrop I don't see any way it will fit. I removed everything from the manifolds out on both sides of the motor for clearance.

I am looking into running something like this. you can pick one up for around $200 and it is only 10" x 9" x 5" so it would fit under the dash easily.
