i got a bagged f150 right now and want to sell it and get a ranger and build up a mini. for the rear, im thinkin bout goin with the KP 6link canti. setup.. do i need a panhard bar with that or set up a watts link? how big of a notch to lay it out on 20s..? will RE 8 work with this kit or will the RE7 work better? for the front, what are my options, im just gonna do 18s up front... cup? or what? i would like to run RE 7s up front if at all possible.. i want to run 1/2" lines and valves... i have 1/2" E Valves on my f150 right now and the dump is starting to stick a bit... so im lookin at other brands... 18"s up front, do i have to raise inner fenders or tub the fire wall or anything?i would like to setup the front where i could run stock rims for daily driving to school since the roads suck where i live. and how difficult is it to setup a york compressor to a 4cyl or a 3.0 motor?sorry for all the questions n shit, but im used to full sized trucks...

ive got a 02 s10 with the cando 6link,i think its pretty similar to the kp 6link. the only thing ive got a prob with is the back link bar brackets sit so low they drag. im guessing the kp setup is bolt on like the cando right!?!

and being that your mounting your bags on the bar, u should be able to use some re6s out back. u get plenty of lift outta those cuz of the canti of course. i was gunna use some re7s out back but the bag sat too close to my tire when mounted for comfort. this is on a s10 mind u. might be diff on a ranger.

and ive got a 10" notch which i believe is capable of laying on 22s. on 20s now.

for valves ive used parker valves and tork valves, both impressing me.

hope this helps a lil,if it dont call me a ranting retard and ill go away!

ive got an 8 inch notch on mine from Gravity Werx and I have enough clearance to lay 22's. you shouldn't have to tub the firewall.

and u dont have to have a panhard bar or watts link on a 6link. or a tri 4link either.

piss on the kp kit, you can setup a good triangualted bag on bar 4 link for a 1/4 of the price. youll have to cut the inner fenders and to lay true frame, Z the front frame 2 in. you mite could trim the heater box for the 18s and keep the heat/air. u can put a 2600 up front, and get a TON of lift w/ the djm arms w/ moog balljoints BUT you have to cut ever living fuck out of it.

i Had some small trouble with the kp kit not geting the wheelbase needed but the guys at kp are willing to work with me. im not sure but how much longer they are going to be making the kit, they are saying there is to many differences between different year rangers witch makes making the kit a pain.

so theres alot of cutting on the 98+ rangers just for 18s. well fawk. o well whats new. so DJM arms upper and lowers? MOOG balljoints and set up up with cups? easy enough.
traiangulated 4link will do the trick ehh? im all about savin money ha.
and my noob question.. what exactly is Z'in the frame doing? my buddy has it on his BD s10 and i saw it on rockys tacoma at fresh rydes.. but what is it doing.. im sure i could figure it but im drawin a blank.
with the djms and moog balljoints and a 2600. will it get close to stock heigth... and same with the triangulated 4link with bags on bars... around here in san marcos theres some CRAZY rail road tracks and i dont want to get stuck on them ha and the roads suck around here

with 2600s djms and moog balljoinst, it will get as high as an edge in the front. zing the frame is were u cut the front frame rials and raise them right in front the firewall/coresupport. search the forums for username msturg, he did it on his.
