Compressors, what the best out there?

well i have a az Compressors but it burnded up after 4 months. so i sent it off and got a brand new one and i have had it about a month and it just shitted out on my. it will not even get to a 150 pis! so whats next?

engine driven all the way, if you can find somone with an oreilly's wholesale account i think you can get one for around 70, u'll nees custom brackets and of course another belt. havent heard too many bad things about AZ's tho.

so far.... iv heard NOTHING positive about az comps ive got a viar 380 its been fine a year so far... i had a 450 on my ranger like 3 yrs!

i have the blowjack dc5000 and it works good i have had it for prolly 6 months and it is on 12gal tank and still runs like the day i bought it,the key is not running 200psi,i dont care what they say they dont last at 200psi,i only run mine at 145

i had an az & it worked good for the time i had my truck,which was only about 2 months,i just bought a pair of viair 480c's,i've never heard anything bad about viairs,so besides an engine driven i'd recommend a viair or an oasis

i have 2 480's on the truck running 200 psi

my little bro has a 450 running 175 on his truck

and my bagged gokart has a firestone 9210 and viair 280 running 175 psi on 5 gallons

got 2 viair 460s that are running strong but would like to get a edc.

I had the blowjax dc5000 on 14 gallons for 3+ years. running 160 every morning and evening. I now have the Oasis Hp 1000 and it is a very strong and fast compressor, you will need to upgrade your alternator or get another battery, to run it.

i have a 7 gallon tank. i would only run it once a day and that was in the morning. the most i would run it would be about 3 times. i didnt play with the switches that much, and had the pressure switche set at 180psi. im going to call the air zenith place tomorrow and see what there going to do, im going to try to get my money back! i want to get the Viair 480
