anyone have their mazda stripped for control arms?

who happens to have their lower bushings removed, but still has them? i need the OD measurement of those if someone has them....

cris to remove the stock bushings me and my friend had to burn them out. sorry Cris.

now, if you burn them out, can you get the outer metal sleeve out too?

You need to rent a press from auto zone or something, the press twards the back of the truck i believe.......if you burn them out you can cut the sleeve out carefully and tap it out with a screw driver. thats what i did. now that i have a god damn press press is your easiest bet, especially if you have a air gun. way easy

i built a puller for bushings, but i would have rather just got the measurements than have to pull the bushing oh well i'll pull on off the parts truck to measure.....

OD of the metal sleeve is 1.5"

I get to my truck tonight Cris, and I can give you any of the measurements you need if you still want them. Post it up if you do, I'll be there all weekend.

oooh wayne if you have a caliper, measure inside of that hole in the frame, that would save me the hours of having to put wheels on the parts truck behind the shop and drag it into the shop.....
