I am wondering what kinds of experiences (good or bad) everyone has had with the newer airlift bags.I have two sitting around from a project that got flooded in last years hurricane (never installed) and am thinking about putting them on my daily driven hardbody. They will not be run at high pressures but I am wondering if they will still hold up on a daily driver.
junk....IMO...dont have to much good to say about them...
I purchased 4 of them from sd.com and had two problems out of the four.....the flip side....i talked to jim and sue and they took care of me huge. i swore they were shit and expected no help from them.....they said it was a bad BATCH....and took care of me the next day and got em to me super fast do i could roll out....they were a huge help and i will deal with them again....except i never got the stickers they said they would send......hmmmmm....i guess even after that i still like them.. just my nickle...
Go with the slams bro.. You will save money in the long run...
I'd personally stick with, and suggest Slams/Contitechs or Firestones also.
If you have some money lying around, the Slams are well worth it. However, I've run AirLifts on a few projects, and if they're installed properly they hold up well. They are VERY sensitive to over-extension and being subjected to extreme angles, but every bag will fail eventually in those situations. If you've got 'em sitting there, I say go for it! Good luck!
Even if you DO have one fail, like Scott said, AirLift is great about handling warranty issues. Not that that will save you from being stuck on the side of the road, but...

well, does anyone want to buy a pair of brand new airlift bags (like the firestone 2500)?
hahaha
3rd one ive replaced for somebody. and this isnt just some batch thing. two of them were installed 2 years apart.
That pic looks way too familiar!
75,000 miles on my airlift bags
20,000 miles on my little bro's
never had a single problem with them at all, talked to Corey @ Airlift a few times, even got a great deal when I bought my little bro's directly from him
