84-88 toyota steering question??????

hey guys, i have a power steering 86 yota and i am doing a motor swap. i was wanting to dump the power steering possibly but i dont want to change steering boxes. i wanted to know if i block off those lines will it still turn like a manual truck or worse? i know S-10's if you just block off those lines it makes the steering terribly stiff (well beyond stiffness of manual factory steering) i need some insite before i put that motor in tommorow. thanks guys

i know it wont help but get a non power box.

also instead of blocking off the holes, put a piece of tranny cooler hose between the two.. you know connect the two together, that way the fluid can transfer back and forth, and not be hard to steer.. until you get the right box
