00 civic thinkin about nos.......what to do???

i have a 00 civic with a k&n air intake & i am curious to know if you can put nos on it with it just being a stock engine....will it kill my engine? >eventually???? Or what would be sum good suggestions as what to modify first so the engine could support the abuse....Im new so be tender

Yes and no on the killing the engine part. Depends entirely on the set up and tuning. I have seen people run wet and dry systems for a long time with minimal problems. This was with propper fuel added to the mix though.

I have also seen someone blow a stock motor the first time they used a 65 hp dry kit....I think it was a zex kit. They of course didn't upgrade the fuel pump, and he got trigger happy and went for a test run before the pump was swapped. Fuel system couldn't keep up the nitrouse and boom.....toasted d-16.

I would definitely research the decision before slapping anything together.

So ok i gather that i would need to swap the fuel pump....any other suggestions???? I see alot of good things about the ZEX set-up....seems to be the choice.....

jsut upgrade ur fuel system like a mo-fo..
