oil filter problem with v8 swap.help

ok i am mouting my 302 in my 2000 ranger with a toyota front clip and when i get the motor in place the oil filter is right up against the frame rail.... what do i do about it? are theyre shorter oil filters i can get or anything else to relocated it?

the oil relocation unit i have is from summit and i liked how it gave me long enough hoses that it wouldnt be in the way. you might need to just get a different relocation kit. which one do u have?

Yea just use a relocater kit and put it on the firewall so it's easier to get to. You can get them from summit.

just make sure the hoses are lined up right! if not you wont get any oil pressure.......not that i did this or anything haha

yes, there are shorter filters.
i have to use one on mine for exsaust clearance.

i don't have a part number,the store should be able to help you....if not, then just start opening boxes till you find one.

mine is about 1" shorter than the standard one.

i believe mines the trans-dapt for 42 bucks and i havent had any problems with it at all.
