Just thought I would tell every one to watch out for people contacting you to buy your stuff from the classified ads. I have a vehicle for sale in there and a guy contacted me by email sounded all interested and then said he was gonna send 2000 grand to ship the vehicle via bank transfer and that the shipping company would pay the price we agreed on. Said all he needed was my bank account number to put the money for shipping in. Obviously it caught my attention as being a little fishy but just thought I would share the news.

i listed a few valves, gauges and some other air ride parts a while back.. i got several emails a day like this. it got annoying so i removed the listings and havent used classifieds since

It's been going on for years people. It's the old nigerian bank schemes pretty much. Everytime I put something up on SSM, the next day you have 10 emails probably from the same person. All you have to do is use common sense. Hell, make 'em send you the money order and shit...just sit on your product and laugh when it comes.
