Taking out my dash ?

I have a 99 sonoma and i really want to take out the dash and do some fiberglass work and paint it.Anyone have any tips on taking it out that has done it before ?

unbolt it and pull it out, youll figure it out as you go along, dont force anything though, dash peices tend to love to break real easy.

pop the defrost vent out. there are 4 or 5 9/32" or 7mm headed screws there, also all of the pieces under the dash will be the same. there are two bolts on each side of the steering column and one on each end of the inside of the dash. its easiest to put your truck in lo 1, and put the steering wheel all the way down. hope this helps. shouldnt take anylonger than an hour, maybe hour and a half
