ok I'm needing some help to see if it even worth trying. I make and sell air ride part local right now and have the equippment to do it bigger, I am thinking of moving it away from my home and start doing like suicide doors does but everything would be made in house like lazer cutting. just wanting to know what ppl think before I jump into deep in to debt.

the laser cutting sounds cool, but I don't know if your gonna really compete with Suicide... Just my 2 cents....I guess it all depends on your location and the demand that you have for product.

post up some of your work, what makes you different from everyone one else. I think sd.com took off because of it's beefy brackets, low prices, and customer service. What do you have to offer that others don't?

I'm new to all of this and dont know how to post pics up but I will try. and I guess what will make me different is not having to wait for stuff on back order like with sd.com sometimes and most stuff I make is same a sd.com but cheaper.

I'd say that if you are making the same stuff as sd.com it might take you a while to get up and running. Most people would prolly perfer to deal with a company that has been around for a while and is well known.

Sorry, I'm not trying to rain on your parade you just have to think logically. Also remember that most of the prices on sd's site are list prices. They cut people deals and work with people on larger purchases all the time.

as far as pics go

also remove the ' at the beginning and end

now your talkin. You need to market you differnces in products and material. I wouldn't focus your marketing around pricing.

also, can I make a suggestion? focus on more things than sdimes. Granted there is a huge market for them, but there are minitruckers with other rides that would kill for some arms that would make their lives easier.

PS... and can actually get them after paying for them.

honestly, if you want an idea of what else to focus on, go read through some of the older byc threads. I saw posts from mazda guys, full size dodges, chevy's, old datsuns, yotas. Pretty much everyone besides dime owners would like some arm options when it comes to their rides.

make some lowers for a mazda and you will have my business. Make some and sell them and actually ship them out..
