whats fair for this motor?

i just pulled a 3.0L V6 and transmission out of my ranger. it has 54,000 miles on it and runs amazing. no leaks and everything is there to take with it. a guy around here saw me pulling it out and wants to know how much i want for it. what is a fair price for the motor and transmission?thanks
