where do u cut the firewall on a blazer

where do u cut the fire wall on a blazer fro a traditional body drop. im going 2 do 4 1/2 2 the rocker, but i cant figure out a good spot 2 cut, because of steering coloum?any ideas or pics where u cut?

on my s-10 which is basically the same thing i never actually sectioned the firewall. i ground out all the seam sealer where the floor meets the firewall and drilled out all the spot welds.

so u basically cut the seem where the floor met the firewall? how many inches did u do?
do u have anymore pics?

mine is 4 1/2 i drug off a 1/4 inch of frame

no you didnt because the frame would be hollow on the bottom seeing as the thickness is less then 1/4
