best way to notch frame w/o plasma

what would be the best way to notch the frame for steering linkage travel without a plasma cutter? I don't have a cutting wheel, even if i did, i have a tiny ass air compressor that would'nt even spit on it. Any ideas?

4.5 inch angle grinder, thats what i used to build my mini

sawzall, then grind the rest with a grinder, can pick those things up cheap at a pawn shop if you don't have them.

some lowers are mounted pointing up, some lowers are mounted pointing down, with the uppers having alot less stress, whats the difference.

i dont know.....i dont see a problem with it like that, its still gonna work in the same matter. and the hole saw idea is pretty cool, i never would have thought of that.
