cheating smog?

anyone know of a way i can cheat california smog? my beast isnt passing and i need it as its my only ride right now. I have cleaned the egr and it didnt come with a catylitic converter... so i dont know what i can do to make it pass.... numbers are still too high. stupid california

i know that this might sound wierd but, if you change your oil, it will help lower some emissions. i don't know how much yours is failing by, but it lower stuff like the NOX and some of the others. a tune up all together will help to and when you get it tested use high grade gas so that it will burn cleaner also.

what vehicle is it?

all cars from like 1975 and newer have cats im sure all gas cars and trucks

I heard u can pump oxygen into the exhaust also... dunno for sure, heard it from a ricer, so no telling. LOL

depending on make and model theres a few options. 1) denatured alcohol in the gas tank2) major vacuum leak and retard the timing
