intake removal 72 f100

im trying to take off the manifold in my f100 and its supposedly heavy as shit and I cant seem to lift it off, what do you guys use method wise to get manifold off that have been on for quite some time.

pry bar.

^ what he said, take a pry bar to it, to break it loose.
If it's an FE motor (360/390), the intake weighs about 70lbs (at least it feels like it).

ya, 70 lbs haha. thats the real weight. i got it off, its amazing what not seeing 2 bolts would do.
