What do you want out of your truck? Want to go fast, cruise? Also have to look at emmissions some places let you do anything, others require lots more. Good luck, truck looks very nice.

Are you just planning on it being a show truck/trailer queen? Or do you want to be able to legally drive it?

Personally, I would stick with the Toyota motor. Get a chrome intake pack like this:Get a Doug Thorley header, they're nickel plated an look pretty nice, and chrome out your pulleys and other stuff.

You can get a chrome valve cover too.And even chrome oil filters. Personally I like the Toyota motors. And you would have to cut into that smooth ass firewall to fit a 350.

the reason i want to do a 350 is no matter what the truck will never be smog legal. and i have about 4 grand left into the toyota motor to include, dual sidedrafts 45mm weber, header, all parts like starter, altenater, and still have to detail it out and i want no computer. its easer to detail a 350 than it is to detail a yota motor
