ok so i just bagged a buddies 95 ranger with beams. i used the suicide brackets and well he has just blown a bag. it seems that when the wheels are turned all the way to the left (no matter how much pressure is in the bag) the driver side tire rubs the upper bellow of the bag. the truck has not been aligned and i told him not to drive it til it was all straight. the truck was not lowered before i bagged it and it has some incredible outward tow. has anyone run accross this? will the alignment help? or would small wheel spacers be an option? and the passenger tire cleans by about a half inch. the wheels are 17x8.5 with a 235/45 tire. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get aftermarket eccentrix. They are the bushing that holds the spindle to the upper part of the I beam. The hole is offset to allow for camber adjustments. you can get aftermarket bushings with more adjustment then the factory ones. That being said, I'm not sure if thats your problem. An alignment is definetly a good starting point, rangers are an absolute mess after you do any sort of suspension work.I am assuming you installed dropped I beams as well? If you didnt, you should.Last, the SD brackets are junk IMO. I did a 97 on 20s over the winter, and could not get the SD brackets to align the bag nicely for the life of me so I hucked em and made some custom tubular mounts. Thats the best way to go as far as I'm concerned.

best way to is to cut the frame clip off and put a toyota clip in there. BUT i wouldnt go over 18s in ibeams becuz there is jsut to much cutting and crap to get it to work and be DRIVEABLE. it can be done to get it to lay, but bein drivable is a different story. you should have put the drop beams(assuming you did) on first then had it aligned, then bagged it.

understandable, but how much work did he have to do to get it to get enuf lift to drive and not wear tires bad the poor guy prob has to have over 150 psi to turn. iknow i do but im b/d on 18s, but i can clear the tires and turn lock to lock.
