top axle centerline?

i'm trying to figure out how to find the exact top of the axle tubes so i can mark that, then mark straight up on the frame so i can tear the leaf springs off and know exactly where the axle needs to be. any help is appreciated.

Take 2 squares and set them on the floor and agisnt the sides of the axle. You need 2 to do it this way. Just measure straight across them and mark it halfway. If ya dont understand it this way pm me and ill try to explain it better

just tack the axle in place with some tubing and then pull the leafs.
