hey all, does anyone have any suggestions for a full custom chassis for an s10. Is there any front clips already done ready to go, with rack and pinion, or would it just be easier to start with a mustang 2 front end. I am looking at the flaming river complete rack and pinion cradle, with column, just throwing some ideas around. lets see what you got. thanks

Check out Heidts for Mustang II. They've been doing it forever, and really know their shit. The kits most other places sell are made by them.

um, people run s10 clips when they do fullframes, why not cut out your suspension, jig it up, and run new rails.... suspension geometry is done if u jig it how it should sit, just gotta run new rails and x-members and mounts.

New front suspension would be cleaner. I'd rather have a full frame than one from the firewall back. Its just that much cooler.

there is ALOT that goes into designing a front end, chevys ride good at 1 height, but their geometry isnt perfect in any means for an adjustable suspension. if you are going to build a full frame, do ALOT of homework to make it as perfect as possible.

If your really want to buy a full frame I would go to chris alston chassis works or art morrison. both companies can buld a frame to your specs but you will pay for it.

i built a full frame for my s10..wouldnt suggest it if u plan on driving ur truck any time soon...took me forever...redid it a few times to get it right...

i would suggest just building from the firewall back..just my 2 cents..
