Nitrogen set up

Im wanting to ditch my compressor and do a nitrogen set up. I figured it would be a little more reliable on a daily driver. Im probly going to get the avs regulator and crap, but I cant find where I can get a bottle. Any help?

Ther should be a supplier in your area that would sell you a bottle

your gonna wanna keep the compressor too for backup too. talk to your local welders supply about buying/renting a bottle.

The regulator that avs sells is good, but the brackets suck!

i built my truck with Nitrogen. The 245 Sq Ft bottle was $259.99. Then the refill on it was $29.95. I swear that i ran out every Saturday afternoon. So i used my smaller bottle as a back up and that lasted maybe 2 days. So i finally got compressors. Because when your driving all the way down on a saturday night and can't get filled til monday ...it sucks... I also once blew a line and that shit looses alot of nitrogen...

do your self a faver and run a compressor with the nitrogen. nitrogen is fun but a pain in the ass at the same time.

you can get brackets for 25 each from weldingsupply.com under cylinder handling and then get a nitrogen purging regulator from ebay and you will be good to go. all for under 100

just make sure if u do keep the compressor on there, make sure u have a good check valve on it

to hell with the bottle. Do the math and you can actually calculate the change it costs everytime u hit the switch. Waaay to spendy for a daily. On a daily i'd rock a york, got one on my truck and i love every minute of it. Had it a 150 psi on 3/8 valves and i couldn't run out of air if i tried. U just keep hoppin and hoppin and it just keeps up with you.... best bet by far
