relay/fuel pump problem

today my 95 integra gs-r died on me as i was goin from 1st to 2nd gear, and everyone is tellin me it is either my fuel pump or main relay, i was wondering if anyoen else had any opinions, it still turns over and almost fires up but thats all, there is no sound from my fuel pump but people r still sayin thats not it, any help will be good
