I have an optima red top battery its about three years old I mainly drive my truck during the good weather. I have two thomas compresors. a brand new starter a new stock altinator. is it normal for a battery wear out faster because of the exctra draw put on it from the compresors? I am having trouble with the truck not sarting when they kick on.cause they draw power and not getting enough crank to the starter. would a hiher output alternator be better? any suggestions? thanks

higher out put alternator is definatly a plus. ive had a redtop in mine for 4 years and no probs outa it besides it eating my stock shitty alternators till upgraded to an internal regulated 100 amper.yea cranking w/ the compressors on doesnt seem to good.
