I have to Take My S-10 to have the hail damage repaired and re-painted, they will have it for 2 weeks and my truck will leak down over that time. beside trying to spend an afternoon teaching the employees at the shop to operate the switchbox how can i "block" my truck upp in the air that will be safe to move around the lot and the shop to the booth? like some wood in the 2-link?

Ya you could just put wood between the framerails and the 2link, and the control arm and frame up front. Just make sure you let them know, otherwise they could drive off on wood and risk laying your truck out on accident.

Someone should make something out of a hard rubber/bumpstop type material.. with metal end plates, and bolt pattern like a fake extended bag just for this/blown bags lol.

an idea I had... would take a little playing with though, cut down a coil spring and make cups that bolt in to bag mounts. but the reality is it's simpler to just have a spare bag or two if your going to go thru that much trouble to fix the problem.

also, i gotta ask, why don't you just go thru the system and fix the leaks? shouldn't be that though w/ a windex bottle full of soapy water!

Yea it was just an idea compared to when people use the block of wood trick to get home haha..

The coil spring would be better, maybe a spring cut with some circle plates welded to the ends.. and some extra hardware. Just check which wrench or socket combo makes it easiest to reach in and assemble in a hurry.

you can go to a home depot or lowes and get a set of ball valves and fill the bag and then close the valve put one on each end the fill and dump and it should leak unless it leaks at the bag or you can just put blocks of wood in between the lower control arm and frame in the front and between the axle and notch in the back

all you need to do is "T" thge bags together with a schrader valve in the middle, that way u can air em up with a tire pump. holds air fine and its a $10 project.

Yeah iveee got a problem with mine now leaking down, i have redone the fittings 10 times over trying to stop it but it keeps leakin down actually pretty fast i think it might be the tank itself cuz the fittings on the side of the tank wont tighten up all the way and get tight theyre still loose feeling when you tighten them all the way down
