nitrogen regulator

I just put in my nitrogen setup in yesterday, and well i bought the regulator used but had no way to test. It is supposed to regulate down to 150, when i open the bottle it just climbs slowly till i close the bottle! any help, ive been told i can have the reg. rebuilt, is it worth it or should i get a new one?

what brand regulator is it? and they arent that expensive to buy new. get you a victor medalist and you'll be a happy camper

Is there a t that screws into the side of the reg.? Try backing that off if there is one.
