??? on slicking out door panels to paint

i want to slick out all the plastic panels in my truck.. what all is involved in doing this? will i still need to fiberglass them as well.. please help

depends on the type of panels, most plastic you can sand down, some you have to use a filler. You can also take a mold if you want and 1-off each panel in glass.

you only need to glass them if you are changing them or have soft materials on them. otherwise, sand down what you can and hit them with a good primer, until the texture is gone. 1 coat of a good primer should do 99.9% of it.

sand 400? then they should
be ready 4 paint?
