Vintage air?

Whos got vintage air in their bd trucks? dose anyone? whats a kit cost and how hard is it to install? Since im a fat guy like many of you I need ac seein that I live in florida and it gets a bit warm down here hehe. Just wonderin whats it gonna cost me and how hard it is to install. Maybe its worth sweating because its that much of a pain in the ass but I was just wonderin. Thanks ahead of time

I've seen these kits that alot of hot-rodders put on. They look perfect for a BD truck, and they're not to hard to install from what I hear. If I remember right they run from like $800-$1800?

Hell they can be as cheap as $250 if you reuse most of your stock parts on the engine. You can get a simple A/C only unit for $250 and make it work off of the factory compressor, condensor, ect... Or go all out with heat and defrost for about $800 a kit.

i dont have any of the factory shit. do u need that or do they make a completly new kit?

get a small blower/condenser/distirbution box from a small car. Dave has a bodydropped 95 mazda (ranger) and I parted a 90 RX7 for the rear end, and I'm sending him the underdash stuff to use on his truck. Its very compact. I imagine you will lose some of your glovebox but maybe not.
