2600 bags on front s-10
i have 95 s'10 with 20's and was wanting more lift than 2500 bags can give me. can i fit a 2600 bag on the front.
ill give u pretty much the same cuzz 2500 would max u out any ways
Just trim out the back spring pocket, last one I did, we pushed the frame back about 1/2", welded and smoothed it out. I'd never put 2500 LB bags in the front of a s10 again.
the only plus i see is, lift with less psi
This is true, and IMO it rides nicer also.
i got 2600's in the front of my blazer..
my s10 has 2600 in the front
here is a Slam RE7 in the front of my s10

round those corners off man, by leaving them square like that you have created stress points in the frame in that area and can cause more damage than you want. i have stone 2600 in the front of my jimmy, much better ride than the 2b6 airlifts i had, and the stone 2500's i had in there also. i have no shocks and most people that ride with me can't tell that i have no shocks, i also have a sway bar on and that stiffens it up to.
You dont have to trim out the back of the spring pocket if you use the right cups like these. The cups are built to offset the bag outward but you must trim the outer part of the spring pocket like this one. Also it will ride much better than the 2500 because at a give height it will need less psi. But as far as more lift, I belive the 2500 will max out your A-arm travel I cant remember for sure its been awhile since I've seen a 2500 on an S-10.
