four link bars

would 1.5 inch round bars be strong enough to mount the bags on the bars?

come on guys.. I am sure someone has to know whether it would be safe to use 1.5 inch bars to mount my bags on.

yea there fine but you will want to gusset them to keep em from bending.

yeah ....i have some round bars and bent the sh!t out of em....it sucked. sqaure bars are the way to go.

i have suicide doors bars... i mounted my bags on them and i feel very safe.. but mine are mounted close to one end though so not all the pressure is in th emiddle of the bar. then again you can always run those under bar gussets.. can never be too safe. suicide doors also sells some... they are 30 bucks for a set.

We've mounted bags on Pete & Jake 4 link bars before and they are only about 1 & 1/4" inches in diameter. We gusseted the bar and the plate which the bag bolted to. Never had a problem and nothing bent. Bigger is not always better.
