2.2l Engine Problem

Ok so I have a 97 S-10 with a 2.2 in it. The problem I am having is with oil getting into the combustion chamber and all over the spark plug of cylinder three, causing it to misfire. If I take out the plug however and clean off the oil my engine runs like new but only for 10-15 miles before the plug fouls out again. I Checked the compresion and it checks out ok. Any Ideas what my problem is?

Oil rings shot. or Cracked head allowing oil to seep through.

man...knowing the 2.2 like i do...its prolly the head bro...ive owned 4 2.2L's and 2 of em have had cracked heads..good luck

Its still ran good with a cracked head? Yea hopefully its just the gaskets
