So Ernie and all the mitsu guys. I've got a 2.4 4 cylinder 5 speed. I went to price fuel injectors since these have 150,xxx miles, and to my suprise they priced me 250 a piece and they cant get'em. Do any of the Eclipse injectors fit?

I just bought the truck and i'm doing normal maintenence on it. It started running funny almost cutting out at low rpm in any gear. I replaced all the ignition stuff just to do it and it still cuts out. So i figure it's a fuel problem. That's how i ended up at the injectors. Then the guy at NAPA said he can't get them so that makes me wonder where i can get'em.

You can send them out and get them cleaned, injectors dont typically wear out.

try here , it says a 4 cylinder set is 50 bucks. A lot better than 250 each.

You can use different injectors and the ECU will adjust to size, but warmup will be rich with bigger injectors.

If you have access to a vacuum pump you can clean them yourself by sucking mineral spirits through them at about 45psi and pulsing them with a 12v power supply. The pulses have to be really really short though, dont hold them open with the power supply. Use a momentary switch inline and just tap it.

I bought some injectors a couple of years ago for like $83 a piece at O Reillys auto parts.
