I am going to be baggin my 04 f-150, BUT, the 24x10's are sitting right at the rear fender lips. I cant seem to find any rear end shop can shorten the axel due to some damn sensor in the pumkin. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF FENDERS WIDEND ABOUT 2" OUT AND UP TO FIT THE RIMS?

it will look gross, take that freakin truck to steve @ fabworx in fresno and he will do it up right, and make it tuck perfectly.

i remember seeing an article about doing it because if im correct the fenders were glass because i think they widenend them with more glass. I know my ram as a vss and abs sensor on my axle and it can be shortened...so i would call around and figure out if any other places would do it.

if you ordered your wheels with the right backspacing, you wouldnt have this issue

the wheels are the correct backspacing, we have been through that before. for fuck sakes, the wheels are teh correct back spacing if the truck was to be laid out with the axel shortend, but all 20 different shops i have called to shorten the axel 2-1/4" on each side all tell me that the damn sensor in the pumpkin stops them from shortening the axel.

also, i have not see any work from fabworx that impressed me. just my 2cents.

Um, if they were correct you wouldnt have to shorten the rear axle.

Call Off Road enterprize in stockton and see if they can do it.(209) 931-1170

can do what? widen the fenders, shorten the axil???

p.s. most of the guys with 04 f-150's with sterling 9-3/4 rear ends all have to have them shortend or replace the rear end or have a f-d up offset on the wheels.

ill try, but most places say they cant do it because the sensor or because they dont make shorter axels to replace the stock axels.
