YOU LUCKY BASTARD! JUST KIDDING! I LOVE THE TRUCK! I CASN'T WAIT TO SEE IT DRAGGN. MY UNCLE HAS ON OF THOSE LUV TRUCK! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TALK HIM OUT OF IT FOR OVER 12 YEARS AND HE WILL NOT BUDGE. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN IN THE BACK OF HIS SHOP FOR OVER 15 YEARS.

the dry sump won't really do you any good, the transmission/bellhousing will still hang down below the sump a few inches.

IMO I would section about 1" out of the bottom of the oilpan and cut down the pickup tube. you'll lose a little bit of oil capacity but the motor won't be affected really, and it's alot cheaper than fooling with dry sump and an electric pump

my buddy's toyota had about 3/4" sectioned out of his and he lost almost a quart of capacity and it's been fine.

thats kinda my plan.....but ima tryn make a sump to either side for more capacity....if i can...???
