sealing bare LEDs

like 6 years ago when i had my first mazda i won some LEDs on ebay for cheap. kinda long and single row but theyrs like 60 LEDs in a row of like 12 inches. mega bright.
BUT their just open. its like the circut board that the LEDs are attached to and thats it. they need to be sealed from water. duh. how would i do this?
i was thinking of putting them in a small plastic tube and sealing that but i think that would make it look more like a neon and kill the LED intensity. they would light up the tube and i just dont think it would look good at all. the ends of the curcut boards have slots in them for screws. any ideas? im ready to do this like this weekend.
