I was driving home from a club function the other night, when I whipped in wal-mart to get baby food, it was raining like hell and coming a hell of a storm when i turned in the parking lot the wind picked up and i guess came up in my bed where its cut out and blew my flush-mout fiberglass tonneau cover up and broke the bracket, when the driver side front coner came crashing down it contacted my fuel pump (tank in bed) and broke the return line port off the tank. (I know, one in a million shot) but anyway heres my ??? to get it home I took the fuel return line and ran it to the middle port on my fuel pump (01 s-10 4cyl) it was used for the evap. system at one time but i decided it was completely un-needed about a year ago and "shaved it" lol the truck starts and runs fine with no leaks will it hurt the 400.00 fuel pump leaving it like this I was told there may be a diaphram in the pump on that port for vaccuum only not fuel... any help guys is as always appreciated.
