insurance!!!!

Who does everybody go through to get there custom vehicle insurance. I'm in the midwest and I need some coverage. Its not a classic car so what do I do to get show vehicle quality insurance? What do all of you have?

i just use progressive and add a dollar value that i want covered...

what do they charge per 1000

for 6 months, it looks like it changes by $88 for each $1K I add, so about $15/month. Could get fairly expensive I guess, I had just added enough to cover my rims so far... I guess I'd look for a cheaper alternative if I wanted a lot more coverage.

i go though state farm.

they offer a sizable discount if the ride isn't your daily.

my policy has it so i can only drive it 10,000 miles a year.

I have my coverage to $20,000 bucks and i pay something like 43 a month or something.

I just had to get it apprased first.

I got 37k on my dually. Had to have it appraised and my rates actually went down because it is listed as pleasure driving and not daily driver. It took me a month of bullsh!t and paperwork to get it done.

What did you say to get that coverage through state farm? I have them and I asked them about it and they sounded like they had no clue!

Well I got it figured out. 10000 dollars worth of coverage is going to cost me 44 dollars a month through state farm. Can oly drive the car 7500 miles but last year I only drove it 500 so I think I will be good.
