removing alternator pulley

I was just wondering if any of you fellaz had any tips before i torch this bastard off.

a nice double hammer impact wrench does the trick.

i was goin nuts trying to get it off, i had a pipe wrench on the pulley and a socket on the bolt with a breaker bar and all i was doing was spinning the shaft so i quit. ill see if i can get my hands on an impact wrench.

Yeah it should come right off with an impact wrench.

some alternators have a allen head in the middle of the nut for this reason, but yea an impact will do the trick

yea mine had that too but i would need to bend one of my wrenches to get it onto the inner nut and then just use a socket on the end.
