I don't think 2-15% gas savings is worth the risks personally...

what risks though. 2 OZ per 10 gallons is nothing. basically it will clean and separate. No way its gonna hurt injectors too trace of an amount

Why not just buy a real fuel additive instead It just seems to me like that would shit something up.. Just my tho

Some guy at my work added it to a stock 98 s-10 and he says he got an extra 75 miles a tank full.

or if u can get ur hands on Metholated SPirits it does a similar thing buy seperate water particles form the petrol and bonding with the water and it goes straight thru without causing any damage to ur engine

Acetone works great! Beware tho some other sites dont tell u how to add it right.

This site is the exact source for this stuff.Lots of reading, but its not like I got any dumber for reading it.

i got an idea, why not experiment with it in a chem lab and test surface tension with and with out acetone. It would be more of a controlled environment in a lab and you could calculate rate of combustion, combustion temps, surface tension and then check any other variables you could think of.
