alright, so I have a 2001 blazer(former xtreme), it's laid out on 20's but in the new future I want to bodydrop it 2 1/2 to 3 inches, I know that I have to relocate the fuse box that's under the hood so that I can tub the firewall and lay body on 20's, my question is can I cut the harness off near the firewall, then pull the wires through to the inside, extend all the wires and reconnect them to the fusebox in a new location inside the truck, or do I need to like pull all the fuses first or what?

To just cut the wires off at the fuse/relay box is a bad idea bro. I just relocaed mine inside the cab, and if ya cut em all...then your gonna have a hard time knowing what goes where cause most of them are all the same colors. Heres the way I did it.
Unbolt each section/plug from the relay box... theres like 4 harness going to the box ....take one harness at a time and disconnect it from the main box ...ok once you done that....then one wire at a time lengthen each wire however many feet you need (like 5-7 ft) and i soldiered each connection so its solid.Took me like 400 ft. of wire so grab ya a bunch ....ok just do that to each harness until your done....now only thing with doing it that way is youll prolly will have to make the square hole where the harness went through above the wheel tub a lil bigger so those plugs that hook into the fuse box will go back through that hole and into the cab ....i really didnt pay much attention if thats the case or not cause I had to cut that out anyways and raise it higher when i tubbed my firewall.
So might as well tub it now while in the process for good measure then thats no worry.
Since its a blazer its prolly automatic so you wont have to worry about moving your clutch resivior up and recessing it, but if odd reason it is a 5 speed then might as well tackle that now while your working in that area....and might wanna go ahead and knock out swapping over to a 7 inch brake booster also cause itll have to be done to lay on those 20's up front.
Hope this helped dude

Im doing one right now. Just number each wire on opppsite sides with masking tape and a permanent marker. Cut extend and color by number.

might try to double # it also ....tape when working on something always seems to wanna come off .... so make a backup plan in advance ....a few inches up add another spot also with the # ....lil bit of extra security never hurt cause if somehting goes wrong its always a bitch to track down in a mess of wires lol
