I am putting integra seats in my body dropped sonoma. I modified the seats to accept the S10 rails. The nice thing is I still am able to move my seat forward and back on the sliders. The bad thing is it doesn't sit much lower if any than the Stock seats. If I remove the rails all together and set the seats in it feels a lot better but if I bolt them down I have no forward to back movement. So my question
Should I bolt the seats to the floor or should I leave the sliders on it? My main concern is I am 6'3" and if I set the seats to where I think they are comfy then others may not be able to drive my truck. What do most bd guys do?
In my nissan the seats i had came with the rails but where the seats bolted down, the rails curved and set the seat up about 2-3 inches, i jsut cut them off and welded some flat stock to the sliders, so the seat is pretty much on the floor, but it still moves, if you understand what i mean
Yea, I know what you mean. This would never work on an S10 since the floor is more jagged than the rocky mountains.
sink in the floor a lil bit, where your seats bolt up ...............
