ive never quite understood the 1000/inch thing...i mean does anyone actually get like a 1 or 2 inch body drop? it should be..a certain amount to the pinch..maybe a lil extra to rocker...and more to go into rocker or door..etc..

hey i saw on ssd that there was a bolt on body drop kit right out of the box that would make your truck lay doors. outa check it out. lol. it depends on the vehicle if your keepin the ac, relocating stuff. tubbing firewall cutting fenders. i have a 96 f-150 and a certain shop told me $4200 would get me layin frame with an edc and another $3000-$3500 for a bd. ill cut my truck up myself for that kinda money. thats not including 22" billet wheels or tires either

The thousand dollars an inch thing isn't really true. it just happends that a 3.5 inch body drop usually cost from $3,500 and up.....it's easy to say that it's a grand an inch. but you just need to start decided what exactly you want then start calling shops, looking for people, asking for pics, ect...ect...ect..
