will a trans out of a 87 hardbody with a 4cyl work in one thats a 6cyl if i swap bell housings same year of course. donor truck has automatic on the column and mine is an automatic on the floor

for those of u who want to know the swap worked all but the overdrive. I had to eliminate that cuz the donor trans did not have one. Overall it was pretty easy.
