lincolc 135 mig welder

Just curious what everybody thought of this welder. Is anybody using it for frame work, bodydrops etc..? The reason i ask is because we have this program through my job that they give us points for different things and we can buy tools, furniture, sporting goods etc.. with these points and this was the best welder that they have.

if your gonna do frame work then i would go for the 175. i used the 135 before i got my 175 and the 175 is a loooot easier to use for framework.

My buddy has it and he thought that bitch could weld up to 1/4" thick steel but not on gas...Its rated at 1/4" with flux core wire...Its sucks,its great for sheet metal because it doesn't get as hot as fast as a 175 or 180 220V...Save up for at least a 175 or 180amp 220Volt heres a site with killer deals on welding shit and they have free shipping....you need to cut and paste(its called cyberweld.com)

I have one and I am really happy with it. Like everyone said thou if you have the money get the 175. Its only like 100 bucks or so more. I have welded 1/4 inch with gas but I went slow and did half moons to help get more heat and penetration.

i got a 135..built 90% of my frame with it...never had any problems with it...works great for me..

i have a lincoln 3200 hd, works great no problems. not much frame work with it though just the front horns.

and i believe that it is a 115 or 120. not sure dont care it works and has penitration

i had one of those for 3 years, did all my frame work with it, welded fine, but after a few years it started having problems so i upgraded to a millermatic 210
