iam going to remove my inner fender wells on my 2000 s-10 i was just looking under the hood and i dont know if my heater box is going to get in the way of the tires when i lay the truck out it only has 245/45/17's in the front and i dont really want to take out the heat so if anyone has answers or even pics of theres that would be great thanks mike...

It will rub it a little and eventually crack unless you have small tires. If it breaks, cut a slit in the lower part of the box where it curves and push it up/ plastic weld it back together and cut off the exess/ plastic weld the corners. Uness you are trying to lay out on 19's or bigger you can keep the stock box and modify it. If you go any bigger you will have to build a new box or ditch it.

17's shouldnt hit the heater box, i had 18"s in the front was goin to cut it out for 20"s so i could ride low but 17" shouldnt hit

If you lay it out even on 17 your tire will rub on it...

I had the exact same tires in front and I'm not bagged (but ride alltime with less than 2.5" of front crossmember clearance) and I ripped the heater box one time when I hit a bump on the road....and it showed some wear under it (tire scratched the paint). So it'll sure hit if you lay it out. You should try to recess it in the firewall.

So what Ben said should work too.

Hope that helps
